Ironically, as people whose jobs are all about coming up with new ideas, we often find ourselves stuck in a rut when it comes to generating new ways to solve a client’s marketing or business problem. Fortunately, with the right techniques, you can get out of those ruts and learn to be a more creative thinker.

And creative thinking is not just for the creative department — anyone can learn to make their brain more fluent in producing new ideas.

In this highly participatory presentation, Gary Duke of Wild Blue Yonder demonstrates why traditional brainstorming doesn’t work, and introduces you to a much more effective method — based on the latest research in brain science — for developing all kinds of ideas in the agency, for any department, and both with groups and individually.


About the Speaker

Gary Duke is Partner & Chief Talent Officer of Wild Blue Yonder, a talent development firm specializing in the creative services industry, where he oversees training and consulting work for leading agencies including Leo Burnett, Publicis, Razorfish and Havas Worldwide. Gary is also a Talent Development Partner with the American Association of Advertising Agencies, where he conducts 4A’s training programs around the country.

Before joining Wild Blue Yonder, Gary served in senior management positions at several leading independent agencies, where he oversaw award-winning advertising campaigns for clients including Marriott Hotels and Resorts, Fannie Mae and Apple.
