Event description

Description

Have you ever been part of, or witness to, a conflict in your workspace that seems like it's never ending?Conflicts are a natural part of any team, but the end result can be good or it can be a disaster. Whether you are involved directly, are witness to the conflict, and/or have management responsibilities within the organization, the most important part of any conflict is how it is handled. During this session, we will look at the life cycles of conflicts, and use creative activities to identify possible resolutions. When confronted positively, conflict is not only easier to manage, it can actually create space for individual and organizational growth.

Key Takeaways:

  • How to identify and break down the multiple layers of a conflict, including how seen and unseen power dynamics play a role.
  • Understand the difference between an idea and an action, and how responses to both can help reduce or enhance the effects of the conflict.
  • Gain tools to manage conflicts as they happen in a way that feels comfortable to you.

This workshop will be presented by Adam Jacobs, Independent Consultant and Co-Founder, Kids Creative
