Description

Design and Build Mobile Apps using MIT App Inventor!



In this program, students will learn the basics of MIT App Inventor and how to design and their very own app that can be used on a tablet or mobile android device. This is an introductory program for students who have little or no coding experience. Both computer based and program design elements are introduced. 

Prerequisites: Students must be comfortable navigating on a computer, finding, downloading, saving, and uploading files. This program is being offered as part of the STEM Docent program of the UNH Cooperative Extension and will be conducted by a trained STEM Docent. The goal of STEM Docent program is to offer hands-on learning opportunities for youth to strengthen STEM foundations in order to meet the expected workforce needs in the state.

The cost is $90 per student ($80 for SEE members)
For Students in grades 7 to 12 who meet the prerequisites.
