About this event
Has it been a while since you've sat down to play the ivory keys? Join musician Stephen Lee of Memphis Jazz Workshop for this eight-week course to refresh those skills. Using keyboards with weighted keys, this class will review basics and more to get you back to playing the music you love.
This course is being held at the new Memphis Music Room at 5770 Shelby Oaks Dr. (formerly the Shriner Building). Classes will occur on Tuesdays from 11:30-12:30 for 8 weeks: 1.24, 1.31; 2.7, 2.14, 2.21, 2.28; 3.7, 3.14.
This class is offered by Creative Aging and is for Shelby County, Tennessee residents age 65+. Thank you to the Tennessee Arts Commission for their support of community arts education!
