Description

This event is for two types of businesses and/or business owners:

  1. Speakers/Trainers who wish to get in front of more people to expand their professional contacts and gain more business via value-add events.
  2. Companies who wish to leverage such events to enhance both current client retention as well as new client recruitment.

This will be a deep-dive workshop and "lab" into what makes for successful value-add events, whether you are the first category above or the second, and whether your targets are personal clients or commercial clients. The key is learning to leverage the contacts of OTHER people and OTHER businesses to benefit your own prospecting and bottom line. Some of the strategies to be addressed include:

  • Who currently uses value-add events and "why"?
  • Two types of value add events (solo and "fusion") and the benefits of either/both
  • Being a part of such events and/or creating your own such events
  • Matching the message(s) to the audience
  • How to select your event partners (with or without asking for dollars)
  • How to select your event venue (at little to *NO* cost)
  • How to select your date and time options
  • Two KEY factors: Your Speaker(s) and your Content (how many and what)
  • Q&A, Discussion, and "LIVE" examples

This will be a "workshop and white board" event. You will walk away with worksheets "you" will fill out to begin your own process as an initiator or facilitator of such events and/or as a coordinator or sponsor of such events. Several audience members will be chosen and coached "live" on how they would specifically apply the principles and strategies addressed, and others watching will see this done "live" to see and understand the thought process that goes into it with ample time given for Q&A as well as active discussion.

This entire workshop is about developing concrete *STRATEGIES* so you leave better prepared to either create such events on your own, or participate (with sharper focus) in such events with others to maximize your ROI.

In fact, you may well meet other professionals *AT* this event interested in partnering with you on such events, or speakers you may wish to contract for such events. Attendance alone carries benefits.
