What to Bring: Towels, indoor slippers if needed, warm clothes, a journal, shoes that can get muddy if needed, and musical instruments.

The closest international airport is Harrisburg International Airport. Rides can be arranged from the airport and from bus stations for a fee.

About the retreat site: Tranquil scenic views, a gently flowing river and peacocks singing all combine to make Gita Nagari an ideal setting for a meditation retreat. It is the first and only certified slaughter-free dairy farm in North America that produces organic milk and a variety of gourmet cheeses and yogurt. Looking forward to seeing you there!

About the teachers:

Dada Vishvarupananda has been a yogic monk for over 27 years and has given personal instruction to hundreds of spiritual aspirants during that time. Dada has a Master’s degree in Yoga Therapy. He has been teaching professionally since 2000 including college credit classes at George Washington University. He has facilitated numerous retreats and yoga teacher training programs throughout the world.

Chelsea Parcels resides in Central Pennsylvania with her 3 beautiful children. She’s a certified yoga teacher with experience teaching in yoga studios, yoga festivals, corporate offices, public schools, martial art studios, and one on one sessions. She teaches numerous styles ranging from chair yoga to Ashtanga. She’s also the founder of her business, Prema Vibrations, LLC. as well as The Central PA Yoga Love Festival. Yoga for her started as another way to stay fit and quickly turned into a lifestyle, helping her find a balance of body, mind and spirit.

Gustavo Monje is a meditation teacher from the Washington DC area where he leads his community, the Vistara Circle, in weekly yoga, kirtan, and collective meditation gatherings and does the same weekly activity, via live stream, at the Onlline Meditation for Beginners on Youtube and Facebook Live. Most of his students find him on his Youtube channel, Tantra Thoughts, where he has built a large library of educational videos that teach different aspects of the spiritual science of Tantra. He is also a musician with a recently released album of kirtan music.

Testimonials of our fall retreat:

"I have few words that would properly express to the amount of love and beauty I experienced while bonding with this precious spiritual community. The experience has definitely taken my spiritual practice to another level as my life has undoubtedly become so much sweeter.

The meditative nature walk was particularly lovely. Taking a moment to get very quiet and just be in nature, noticing all the beautiful moments that emerge is a wonderful practice I happily take with me into my everyday routine. My dog is very happy she is getting much longer nature walks! Many thanks to all who worked so lovingly to organize the retreat. Truly a gift, Namaskar" - Carrie Kramer

"Attending Vistara Circle’s Tantra Perspective on Beauty retreat was like opening a treasure chest of spiritual fulfillment. We had the opportunity to spend an entire weekend enriching ourselves with such activities as
meditation, yoga, music, art, dance, and forest bathing. The kind people who lived at Gita Nagari were also excellent hosts for us and made sure that we had everything we needed.

I looked forward to how I would feel once I returned to my daily life after the retreat. I am happy to report that I have been enjoying the beauty of life’s varied experiences even more. My meditations have been more joyful and I am calmer in the face of adversity.

In addition, Vistara Circle has a wonderful yoga/meditation community that regularly meets online and in the DC area. If you are interested in deepening your spiritual practice with like-minded individuals, I encourage you to check out some of the programs." - Christina Wingate
