This course helps pastors and their leadership teams awaken a spirit of generosity within their communities. Participants will understand the landscape of religious giving, the relationship between financial accountability and generosity, and consider how congregational finances can be an avenue for pastoral care. The theological significance of generosity will be developed, while creating a concrete implementation plan to inspire cultural change moving your congregation toward greater generosity.
Participation in all three sessions by pastor and leadership team members is requested and encouraged. If you are taking the class for credit you must attend both Friday and Saturday classes. Noncredit only attends on Saturday.
