CREATING CHARACTERS: A Playful and Physical Approach
Taught by Michael Brown and Marc Frost (Chicago)
Saturday, December 3rd / Sunday, December 4th
10 AM - 4 PM / 10 AM - 4 PM
This workshop is intended to approach characters with a focus on physicality and it is an excellent jumpstart to creation or renewal of skills for any performer who is looking to be more specific in their characterization. Over the course of two days, students explore the basics of physical character creation and the concept of play. By constructing dynamic and recognizable human characters, they will get a strong introduction to creating physicality and playfulness on stage.
