How do you assess what students know when a test isn't appropriate? Join us to explore how rubrics can significantly expand quality assessment in our teaching. Rubrics can be created for a variety of applications such as increasing grading efficiency and objectivity, guiding peer evaluation of presentations, and justification for assigning course grades.  Learn the for steps for rubric creation and how to apply and refine your rubrics for maximum benefit.  Guest presenter Lee Meadows, PhD, will demonstrate the utility of a rubric and lead participants through the creation process using several examples
