Creating Accessible Print Materials and Providing Alternate Formats
You should take this workshop if you create print materials for the public, such as brochures, flyers/posters, reports, booklets, etc. This workshop addresses required accessibility notices and provides many ideas for making printed materials more readable for everyone. Bring your own documents for review!
Some people with disabilities have difficulty reading regular print materials due to their low vision, cognitive disability, or dexterity problems. Access laws require King County programs and services to provide print materials in alternate formats, such as large print or Braille. This workshop will also cover how to provide alternate formats quickly and at low cost.
