Event description

Description

After a 108 year drought, the Chicago Cubs won the World Series in 2016. The transformation of the Chicago Cubs started five years prior to 2016 when Theo Epstein brought a culture of the appropriate use of data to the Cubs organization.

As Theo stated, “You really have to drill really deep, too many decisions are based exclusively on data and you don’t remember that there’s a real-life person who has things going on at home.”

Join Chase Carpenter, the Assistant Director of Advanced Analytics for the Chicago Cubs and Dr. Art Fessler, the Superintendent of Community Consolidated School District 59 in Illinois, for a conversation about how the appropriate use of data can transform an organization's culture and create a legacy that can stand the test of time.

Lunch and an open bar will be available to all attendees. Space is limited so please reserve your spot today!
