The Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health invites you to its Third Conference, Creating a Culture of Care. Mental health is integral to student academic success and engagement on campus.  A comprehensive approach to mental health and suicide prevention requires commitment from the entire campus community. 

Dr. Doris Iarovici, PhD, will be the keynote speaker and discuss "The Fragile Generation? Trigger Warnings, Mental Health Crisis and Resilience on Campus".  The general address will be presented by Cary McQueen, Founder and Executive Director of Art with Impact.  

OPCSMH breakout sessions will offer a chance for colleagues across the state to present on a variety of topics.

Please note the conference is free, as is parking.

CEU/CME information:

  • Northeast Ohio designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 

  • OhioMHAS Continuing Education Committee is an approved provider of Continuing Education OhioMHAS is approved by OPA-MCE to offer continuing education for Psychologists.  5.5 MCEs are awarded per 311334820-1480CO. 

 

  • OhioMHAS has been approved as a provider of Continuing Professional Education credit by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist Board. 5.5 CPEs have been awarded to Social Workers per RSX088902-2414CO and to Counselors per RCX068915-2392CO.
