Description

Note: this webinar takes place during a live, in-person teacher professional development event. By joining, you will be participating virtually along with your peers.

Overview

We all know that the jobs of tomorrow are in STEM. But how do today’s teachers help their students develop the critical skills needed to thrive? How do we change STEM from a buzzword into a movement, where students are given opportunities to develop STEM practices in authentic ways? Join the TGR EDU: Create Educator Community – educators, like yourself, both online and in-person – as we tackle these problems in a FREE live event on Tuesday, July 30th at 9am PDT/12pm EDT.

By participating, you will:

  • Understand how collaborative learning impacts cognitive and social development in students

  • Identify why collaborative learning is critical in the 21st century STEM workforce

  • Learn effective strategies for implementing collaborative learning in the classroom

  • Cooperate virtually with your peers in breakout rooms while experiencing an engaging collaboration activity

This live event is more than a webinar. All attendees are encouraged to connect via video conference – you will have the opportunity to share and contribute along with your peers! Join us on Tuesday, July 30th at 9am PDT/12pm EDT to learn, discuss and develop strategies that will support students as they develop critical STEM skills.
