Event description

Description

Frank Reich is as much a theologian as a sportsman. Years before returning to the Colts as head coach, Reich served a three-year stint as president of Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) Charlotte, his alma mater. He also spent several years as a pastor. Reich is passionate about bringing the gospel and sound theology to his work on the field and off.

In this public lecture, Coach Reich will speak on "Created to Compete: A Theology of Competition."

A brief time of Q&A will follow.

Coach Reich was the quarterback at the University of Maryland, and drafted by the Buffalo Bills. In both college and the pros he is remembered for leading great come-from-behind victories. He also played for the Carolina Panthers, the New York Jets, and the Detroit Lions. Starting as an interim coach for the Colts under Tony Dungy, Reich went on to hold coaching positions with the Arizona Cardinals, the San Diego Chargers, and the Philadelphia Eagles before rejoining the Colts. This year he was named the AFC Coach of the Year.
