Are you interested in learning how to use that DSLR camera to it's full potential?
Well, you can-- and just in time to quickly check it off of your list of 2017 Goals!
This awesome class will help you learn how to get off auto mode and tackle the tough topic of using different settings (even manual) on your DSLR camera. You will learn about light, composition, lenses, and tons of other great info.
There are 4 total hours of class time with this workshop! The first 3 hours are dedicated to diving into the exclusive workbook made by Courtney, and covering the technical and artistic tips you need to know. The final hour is reserved for practicing your new skills (led by Courtney) outside with a model!
The class is taught by professional photographer, Courtney Abernathy. Courtney is a natural light and studio photographer central to the Hickory, NC area. She focuses on weddings and high school senior clients, but loves a variety of portrait work, in addition to helping others with their own photography.
Courtney developed her first round of Create + Understand in 2013 after seeing a need in the area for a camera course geared to people that want to learn, but who have a busy schedule and can't make it to weekly classes over an extended period of time. She recently updated this course in 2016 to give a fresh prespective and new tips! Her course is a "crash course" that teaches you the basics of photography and your DSLR camera, and gives you a manual laid out in basic terms. Attendees of her class are invited to a Facebook group afterwards to continue asking questions, growing and sharing their work.
Please note that the class is limited to 10 participants only!
