The University of South Carolina's Integrated Information Technology program invites Midlands 9th, 10th, and 11th graders to register now for the Create IT Discovery Day, to be held on Saturday, April 9th from 12:30pm to 5:00p.m. at IT-oLogy. High school students will learn about exciting careers in information technology (IT). The goal of Create IT Discovery Day is to encourage high school students to pursue an interest in information technologies.
Students and faculty from the University of South Carolina will lead hands-on activities exploring the wide range of career options available in IT and the necessary skill sets required for success in those careers. Attendees will be engaged in activities designed to reinforce what is learned. A number of technology door prizes will be given away to participants.
Create IT Discover Day will be held at IT-oLogy, located at 1301 Gervais Street in downtown Columbia, and at the University of South Carolina. Create IT Discovery Day is sponsored by IT-oLogy, in collaboration with its partner TM Floyd & Company, and the University of South Carolina.
