The Student Conservation Association invites our Alumni, members, friends, and community members to join SCA-Northwest in honoring Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. As a continued partnership and recurring monthly event we will work together to create healthy forests at Maplewood Playfield.
Volunteer alongside the current cohort of SCA’s Conservation Leadership Corps (School-Year) members as they work to restore healthy habitat in Seattle with monthly service events! Every second Saturday, SCA crew members and the public will be volunteering to connect with each other and contribute to a park's healthy ecosystem. You will plant and maintain native plants, watching them thrive in place of Himalayan Blackberry thickets and English Ivy mats.

WHAT: Volunteers will plant and maintain native plants restoring critical habitat.
