Some comments from last year's conference:

This is a really good talk. I appreciate the discussion of technic problems and their solution through architecture.

I love the conversation about supporting the elderly and keeping them living independently. Is there an easy extension to the disabled and those with special needs (many of which are young enough tp be on medicaid)?

"We take inspiration from nature and build machine learning in layers." Ryan Kirk described architecture of network monitoring and protection.

A running theme among the presentations today is the business case; the technical challenges of teams and infrastructure and individual talent are interesting, but without answering "what do we do with this finding, this prediction, this analysis", those questions are moot.*

*We are focussing on business cases solved by using analytics this year!

FAQs

What can I bring into the event?
Bring whatever you need to take notes. Charging stations will be provided in the back of the auditorium for your convenience.

Food and drink are not allowed inside Emerson Auditorium, but the presentations will be simulcast into Frick Forum where you can enjoy refreshments.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

WashU Danforth campus has instituted vistor spaces in the Millbrook and Snow Way parking garages. There will be a limited number of spaces for this event and others who use these parking spaces. You may be sent a visitor pass to print and place on your dashbaord, but it does not guarantee you a visitor spot. This pass is required to avoid being ticketed.
Shuttles from an off campus lot may be necessary and would probably run every 15 minutes. This service has not yet been solidified.
We encourage carpooling/ridesharing, coming for breakfast, and staying all day. We will take good care of you.
There is a very convenient Metrolink stop at Big Bend and Forest Park Parkway.

May I arrange for a vendor table?

Yes! Vendor tables are $250 for a 6' table with 2 chairs and access to electricity. Vendors wishing to invest in table space at the Fall 2017 conference should email ccabd@wustl.edu or call Jennifer at 314-935-8541.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please email CCABD@wustl.edu or call 314-935-8541.
