The Crawford County Economic Development will be hosting a virtual housing summit on March 17, 2021. Discussions will be focused on how to improve area housing in a way that benefits the whole community.

The summit is open to the public, with attendance over Zoom. Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to register here. After registration, attendees will be sent the link for the meeting. The meeting will be held from 9 am to 11 am EST.

In 2020, Crawford County Economic Development placed an emphasis on Broadband Internet and was successful at obtaining the Next Level grant to make broadband in Crawford County feasible and affordable. Internet connections should start taking place around the county this spring and summer. This year, an emphasis is being placed on housing to provide market-rate housing options so that people can live and work here in Crawford County, Indiana.
