An alien spaceship has crash landed, and Austin youth are invited to experience the futuristic technology inside. The event will focus on Virtual Reality (VR), with robotics, drones, 3D printing, astronomy, science, computers, tacos (important!) and the arts! The goal is to inspire through exposure to hottest and current trends.
Crash Site by Thinga is an all day experience (possibly 2 days if necessary. Priority treatment of middle school, high school, and late elementary students.
This is the first event of it’s kind, so we’re looking for key partners and talent to jump in and make this and the next several events of this kind remarkable!
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This is an all ages event aimed at late elementary, middle, and high school youth. Parents are encouraged to get involved. Kids under 14 must be accompanied by a parent.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There's a huge parking lot directly across from the event space. It's usually free, but may have a charge. There's also a ton of street parking.
What can I bring into the event?
Please do not bring food or drink into the event. Waterbottles are an exception.
