About this Event

With all of the active shooter events happening across the nation and the world, it only makes sense to be prepared. Sign up to attend this FREE training from certified police officer trainers who are passionate about what it takes for you to be safe.

This four-hour training has been offered to schools, businesses, hospitals, and places of worship. This session is open to the public, and also small groups who do not meet the minimum number to host training at their own site.

At the end of this training, participants will be able to:

Understand the Avoid-Deny-Defend model of active shooter response.

Understand the nature of an active shooter/active aggressor event.

Understand the basic human (physiological) response to disaster in order to properly respond to many critical incidents with self preservation as the goal.

Understand what to expect when law enforcement arrive on scene at a critical incident like an active shooter/active aggressor.

The building will be open for check-in at 8:30am. The presentation will begin promptly at 9am.
