Description

CRASE - Civilian Response in Active Shooter Events

An informational presentation on the causes of acts of violence in public places, and how citizens can prepare and respond, will be offered on Sunday, February 18th in the church from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Austin Police Officer Joshua Visi will show a slide presentation, and there will be a questions and answer discussion after the presentation.

Adults only. Parishioners from our church, other churches and faith-based organizations are invited. This is a free event, but you must register by Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.


BACKGROUND

CRASE was created by the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training Center which is located in San Marcos, Texas. They are attached to Texas State University. The Austin Police Department offers free security surveys for residents, churches and commercial business. Contact your area's APD Community Relations office for more information about safety programs or to schedule similar presentations in your neighborhood,
