Feel the power of the stitch!
Join our resident “Crochet Kingpin” Dwayne Lawson-Brown for a meet-up of like minds and crafty hands. Participants will engage in fiber-crafts including crochet, knitting, and needle point, while listening to podcasts. Join us for lively discussions around our city’s social justice issues and the power of art to create change.
- Gender inclusive
- Other non-fiber, small-scale handcrafters welcome
- Experienced crafters: bring your own materials
- Beginners: limited materials and some instruction available.
Registration is required. Sessions limited to 50 participants.
The Craftivism Circle meets every first Saturday of the month from 2:00 to 4:00 PM from June to November of this year.
