About this event
In this workshop, kids will be able to plan their own 2D design that they will then print onto a tote bag, a bandana, and a poster, introducing them to the art of mass printing capabilities. Using cut paper, stickers, and stencils, we will show them how to create a dynamic design in the form of a custom-made silkscreen.
Project Kid offers families solutions for unplugged creative fun! From DIY crafts and party ideas to home décor and playdate solutions, at Project Kid we put a creative spin on a 360° look at life with kids. Amanda Kingloff, the founder of project Kid, has written two kids craft books and developed countless craft ideas for magazines and various brands.

Organizer of Craft in Focus: Silkscreen Printing for Kids
After six successful editions in Amsterdam, and a New York pilot in 2017, the Craft in Focus Festival will be making its return to New York, and taking place Saturday, May 18 to Monday, May 20, 2019. The three-day festival will transform Industry City in Brooklyn, NY into an open workspace and presents hands-on workshops for people of all ages, master classes and demonstrations, focusing on master craftsmanship.
