Craft Brew Races | Worcester 2022

The Craft Brew Races return to Worcester for a fun 5k followed by a craft beer festival! Enjoy a relaxed run (or walk) through downtown Worcester and celebrate your achievement with an amazing craft beer event at Worcester Commons.

We'll be pouring outstanding local and regional craft beers, making for an afternoon you don't want to miss. Designated driver and festival-only tickets are also available.

This is a 21+ event, no one under the age of 21 will be admitted. This includes designated drivers. No babies, toddlers, or minors will be permitted into the venue. No pets are allowed.

What do I get?

All 5k participants and festival-goers receive a pint glass, koozie, and entry to the festival — including beer sampling, live music, vendors and food trucks selling onsite. All Designated Drivers ticket holders receive a different bracelet at registration. They are welcome to enjoy the festival and designated snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

All 5k finishers receive a race medal.

2020 Registrants

All 2020 registrants have been automatically rolled into the new 2022 date, no further action is required.

But, if the new dates do not work for you, we would be happy to extend a registration credit in the amount you originally paid for your ticket that you can use for any upcoming event on our Craft Brew Races or Gray Matter Marketing calendar. COVID-19 Guidelines and Policies

We will continue to work with state and local officials throughout the months leading up to the event, and craft our protocols guided by science and based on the recommendations of our public health officials. Additional details and information will be posted in the months prior to the event as guidelines evolve.

Cancellation Policy

Should the race be cancelled due to Covid, all registrants would receive an Eventbrite Credit for the full value of their registration. The credit balance can then be applied to the purchase price of a new ticket to any event on our calendar within two years of the day the credit is issued.

Refunds

Gray Matter Marketing is a small business dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle with charitably focused events that highlight the communities we are fortunate to call hosts cities.

We are not able to offer refunds. However we do offer any registered runners the opportunity to request a race credit for your full value. Once issued, these Eventbrite Credits appear as a balance of your Eventbrite account. The credit balance can then be applied to the purchase price of a new ticket to any event on our calendar within two years of the day we issue the credit.

Please email info@graymattermarketing.com with your full name, the email you used to register for the event, and the event name and date — and we will issue an event credit for the value of your entry. Event credits must be requested no later than 30 days prior to the event you are currently registered for.

Extreme Weather Policy

Our events are held rain or shine. However, there is always the potential for extreme or severe weather conditions. Race organizers will do as much as we can to ensure the experience is as safe as possible. In the event of severe weather, the race may be delayed as race officials consult public safety officers. If there is more than a short delay, if conditions persist, or the forecast calls for extreme weather, race officials reserve the right to alter or cancel the race. We do not schedule "rain dates". Any decision to cancel an event is done as an absolute last resort and is made collectively with local risk management, police, fire & rescue, and medical personnel as appropriate. In such situations, there will be NO REFUNDS as registrants accept any such risk of their entry free when signing up.
