Project based learning is not just a way of learning; it's a way of working together that encourages and enables students to become independent workers, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners. If students learn to take responsibility for their own learning, they will form the basis for the way they will work with others both in and outside of school. "Cracking the project based learning code" will consist of a hybrid lecture and workshop to open up and demystify the concepts of project based learning in the classroom at the college level. It will entail integration strategies as well as code breakers to open up this exciting and vital 21st century learning style for any subject matter.
