CPR/AED Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
The American Heart Association - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Professionals Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of health professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner while getting certified.
The cost of the course held at USF is $36.87. Anyone who needs a CPR certification can take this 4 hour course on Wednesday, December 7th, 6pm-10pm.

American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Professionals Course Completion Card is valid for two years. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. You do not have to be a Healthcare Provider to attend this training.

Disaster and Humanitarian Relief (DAHR) Student Collaborative
The Disaster and Humanitarian Relief Student Collaborative (DAHR-SC) provides members with a unique experience by combining opportunities in research, philanthropy, and hands on emergency preparedness under one organization. The mission of DAHR-SC is to encourage students with similar interests to collaborate and work together to reach common goals through research and philanthropy. DAHR-SC will foster a Campus-Community Emergency Response Team (C-CERT) that will educate the community about disaster preparedness and the hazards our area is presented with.
