Event Information
About this event
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a recommended certification for outdoor professionals and is required to maintain SOLO certifications. If provided immediately after cardiac arrest, CPR may double a patient's chance of survival. This 2-hour course teaches adult, child, & infant CPR and AED, as well as choking rescue in accordance to the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) curriculum. This is a two-year certification.
Why SOLO Southeast? Our instructors have extensive outdoor experience and are selected for their expertise in emergency medicine and rescue as well as for their teaching abilities. You are learning from the best - in the best location. SOLO Southeast is located at the intersection of the Nantahala River and the Appalachian Trail at NOC's Wesser Campus, meaning you learn wilderness medicine IN the wilderness.
