The Citizens Police Oversight Commission and the Wynnefield Community Neighborhood Association will be hosting a Movie Night and Discussion. Join us as we watch "My Name Is Pauli Murray".

Fifteen years before Rosa Parks refuses to give up her bus seat, Pauli Murray fights for social justice. A non-binary Black lawyer, activist, poet, and priest, Murray influences both Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Thurgood Marshall.

We'll get together to share some delicious food, watch this amazing documentary and talk about Pauli's legacy, how important they are in our nation's history and how we can continue their fight for social justice and against racism and all other forms of hate.

This event will take place at the Wynnefield Branch of the Free Library 5325 Overbrook Avenue, 19131 from 4:30PM-6:30PM.
