WHAT TO EXPECT
BREATHE | Psalm 46:10: He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
BEFRIEND | Galatians 6:2: Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 5:13-14: You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
BE GRATEFUL | 1 Thessalonians 5:18: Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
BE INTENTIONAL | James 5:12: Above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear—not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. All you need to say is a simple “Yes” or “No.” Otherwise you will be condemned.
BREAK FREE | 2 Corinthians 3:1: Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Galatians 5:1: It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

WHAT ARE OTHERS SAYING?
I have tried several times to express the magnitude of this retreat to others, yet the words seem inadequate. I guess the best way to summarize it is simply to say, I experienced the presence of God on a hilltop. I truly felt His loving arms around me in a way I have never felt before. What a pleasure it was to escape the daily busyness and quietly spend time with Him. Not only did I have a desire to go, but it was necessary for me to go. I had the opportunity to be in the company of women who were strangers for all of five minutes. We quickly became a sisterhood through laughter, tears, prayer, encouragement, and Christ's love. We poured into one another and as a result, we left full and reflective. - 2015 Retreat Attendee
Cozy Convos retreat was Heaven sent, it came at a time that I was valley low, down in the trenches in life. My spirit was broken and I needed a complete 180° turn as I was barely making it on fumes. At first, I was skeptical about going to a place where alot of women would be convening, since, I had been burned attempt friendship with women. Upon arriving, I was greeted with warmness by a few members of the Cozy Convos team. Throughout the retreat I felt so loved, accepted, and excited for the sisterhood. I had never been on a retreat prior to the Cozy Convos Retreat; however, I was so grateful for this much needed opportunity. I was able to laugh, I cried, I released, I became refreshed and restored. I have to say even the food was good, we had fresh fruit with each meal, and everyone there talked about how each meal was made with love. The family I gained at Cozy Convos are such kind-hearted individuals and I walked away with lifetime bonds. The retreat was everything I needed to will myself to want to continue living, in addition, to rekindling my relationship with God. - 2015 Retreat Attendee
