Description

The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission, along with N.C. State Cooperative Extension and USDA Wildlife Services, is holding a coyote conflict management workshops for landowners who want to learn about available tools to address problem coyotes on their property, as well as non-lethal methods that can be used to prevent conflicts.


Biologists will discuss the following:

  • Coyote biology and behavior

  • Practical, non-lethal methods to prevent/reduce coyote conflicts

  • Laws and regulation on taking coyotes

  • Basic trapping techniques to address problem coyotes


The program will last approximately 2 hours with a question-and-answer session to follow.

The event is free, but pre-registration is required. A light meal will be served.
