Work together. Find creative space.

About this Event

On November 1, 2019, the Center for Craft will launch a new coworking space tailored to the needs of Asheville’s creative sector with the goal of connecting fellow creatives, makers, and supporting companies in a vibrant environment that encourages inspiration and innovation.

You're invited to a special preview of Cowork at Center for Craft on October 16, 2019!

Tour the newly renovated second floor for an exclusive look at the hand-crafted cowork space featuring dynamic reading and coffee lounges and maker installations from Jamil D. Harrison, Old Wood Company and Shelter Collective.

Enjoy local bites and beverages from Cordial + Craft, Ginger's Revenge, Sierra Nevada, BimBeriBon, and French Broad Chocolates. Attendees will have the opportunity to make their own tassel keychain using materials from Echoview Fiber Mill and UNC Asheville's STEAM Studios!

Plus, sign up for a coworking plan at the open house, and receive an exclusive early bird discount for up to six months on your plan! Flex desks and anchor desks are available.

About Cowork

A collaborative and functional environment well-lit by floor-to-ceiling windows and large skylights, Cowork at Center for Craft is a space designed for and by makers and will include art installations by local, regional, and nationally-acclaimed artists, including Harvey Littleton, Tanya Aguiñiga, and more.

The project puts craft in context to other creative disciplines in an effort to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration. The coworking space will bring together creative entrepreneurs, students, makers, artists, designers, scholars, and the businesses that support them; redefining what it means to create, innovate, and connect.
