COVID’s Impact on Women & Girls: A Three-part Series
Begins: October 11th is International Day of the Girl Child
We kickoff this three-part series on how COVID-19 impacts women and girls around the world.
The virus has had a profound impact on our societies and economies, highlighting the global reliance on women at the frontline and at home. It exposes structural problems in various fields such as health/care, education/schooling, economy, security and social protection. We need in depth research, discussion and awareness of the risks, challenges and solutions for an equitable recovery from this historic pandemic.
Join the Center for Gender, Education and Empowerment founder, Dr. Rachel Anderson and webinar moderator, Dr. Vilma Seeberg, Kent State University (retired), for this important opportunity discussion October 11th, November 15th and December 6th at 1:00pm Eastern Standard Time/US
