Event description

*The topic of the 6/5 webinar will be Race, Church & Response in Crisis, with panelists Rev. Dr. Alvin Sanders (World Impact), Dr. Nicolette Louissaint (Healthcare Ready), and Marcus Coleman (former Acting Director of the Department of Homeland Security Center for Faith-Based & Neighborhood Partnerships), and moderator Dr. Theon Hill (Wheaton College)*

As organizations of all sizes respond to coronavirus now and what it may bring in the future, churches must make preparations, too. Research has shown that in times of crisis, such as the current outbreak, people will turn to faith communities for support, but these ministries are often unprepared.

Join Jamie Aten, Ph.D., and Kent Annan, M.Div, from the Humanitarian Disaster Institute at Wheaton College, in partnership with the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE), each Friday at noon to learn about how to prepare your church for coronavirus and respond to the challenges it presents. In these weekly webinars, we will be sharing research, resources and essential tools that will help keep your congregation safe as this public health crisis unfolds. You’ll also gain insights into how to address the fear and anxiety that many people currently feel.

Register to receive access to the ongoing webinar series and additional updates from the Humanitarian Disaster Institute.
