Colorado Black Women for Political Action in association with Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Center, Colorado Black Leadership Caucus, NAACP Denver, DU's Graduate School of Social Work, The Colorado Trust Presents:

COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS: Series 3, Race, Crime, & the Politics of Fear in America

Thursday, November 9, 2017 - 6pm - 8pm | Presentation and Q&A with anti-racism activist and author Tim Wise.

Tim Wise is among the most prominent anti-racist writers and educators in the United States. He has spent the past 25 years speaking to audiences in all 50 states, on over 1000 college and high school campuses, at hundreds of professional and academic conferences, and to community groups across the country. Mr. Wise is the author of several books including White Lies Matter: Race, Crime & the Politics of Fear in America, Between Barack and a Hard Place, and White Like Me.

Come expecting to have a fearless conversation on race, racism, and its affect on all of our lives.
