Description

What to do when mental health isn’t on your to-do list.

In today’s world, entrepreneurship is alluring – you set your own schedule, create your own rules, and build the company of your dreams. But startups often make a lot of sacrifices to be successful, with mental health and well-being the first to fall off the to-do list.

As an entrepreneur, what are the barriers to putting your mental health first? What are your strategies for coping? Do they make your life easier, or create additional obstacles?

Join us for lunch on December 20th as Patrick Parker systemic/relational therapy expert, leads an open discussion for changemakers and entrepreneurs interested in exploring different methods to identify your workplace challenges, discover tips for maintaining productive coping skills, and uncover what is next in your journey to improved mental health.

MEET PATRICK PARKER

Patrick has been working with individuals using CBT and DBT modalities to solve struggles and find strength and answers within themselves. Patrick works with individuals on ways to focus on problem-solving and forward thinking. Working from a solution-focused approach, it is Patrick’s goal to make sure that every individual and business in the co-working community is working at optimal levels of productivity. Patrick is born and raised in Minneapolis and is passionate about helping the city and local community in civically minded ways.

*Lunch will be provided. The event is free for Impact Hub members and open to the public with a suggested $10 donation.
