Couples Therapy: A Comedy Show is your scheduled appointment to laugh about relationships and single strife. The show is a hilarious round-table discussion featuring comics and willing audience members, led by coupling failure Rahmein Mostafavi and a host of guest comic “therapists” that will assist all you lovers out there with your relationship issues.

Whether you're dating, married, divorced, or just single and hopeful, this show has got you covered. Is he leaving dirty socks around the house? Is she spending too much time on her phone and ignoring you? Did one of you vote for the other candidate? Let’s figure it out together. For better or worse, this cast of comic therapists will have you in tears…one way or another!

Rahmein Mostafavi charms crowds with comic timing and charisma developed throughout two decades of live performance. He addresses social and political topics with a combination of satirical and observational comedy, leaving audiences with a greater sense of purpose, sex appeal and the occasional leg cramp.

Rahmein entered the stand-up world after working as a longtime cast member of “Shear Madness,” the acclaimed Kennedy Center improv/comedy whodunit. His natural joke writing ability, combined with his acting chops, has won him rave reviews in both the Washington area and around the country. He also produces events like a rockstar, bringing live comedy to venues in Maryland, DC and Virginia. He is also the creator and host of the national smash hit Couples Therapy: A Comedy Show.

Rahmein has shared the stage with some of the best comics in the nation, including Dave Attell, Jake Johannsen, Artie Lange, Bert Kreischer, Rich Vos, Jon Lovitz, Tim Meadows, Joe Matarese, Bob Marley, The Sklar Brothers, Jen Kirkman, Red Grant, Godfrey, Joe Torry, Kyle Kinane, Finesse Mitchell, Louis CK, and Maz Jobrani. He has been featured at the Laugh Your Asheville Off comedy festival, The Devil Cup, Red Clay, The Cleveland Comedy Festival, and the Cape May Comedy Festival. Rahmein has been seen on FOX, heard regularly on Sirius XM, was featured in “The Truth About Money” on PBS, is a regular at the DC Improv, Kennedy Center, and was honored to be a speaker at the world famous TEDx Talks.

Where do I park?

Bright Box is located at 15 N. Loudoun St. on the beautiful pedestrian mall in Old Town Winchester. The nearest parking is the Braddock Auto Park at 30 N Braddock St. This is about a block away from the venue. The parking garage does have several handicap parking spaces available.

Once you've parked in the garage you'll exit toward the pedestrian mall. Once you hit N. Loudoun you'll make a right and Bright Box will be on your right a few storefronts up, directly across from the Old Court House Civil War Museum

Is Bright Box handicap accessible?

Absolutely. The venue is handicap accessible and ADA compliant. The infrastructure in Old Town Winchester is friendly toward those with physical challenges or in wheelchairs. Park in one of the close-by parking garages and come to the main door at 15 N. Loudoun St. (the walking mall). We ask that you arrive when doors open, and we will be happy to escort you to a place best suited to your needs in the theater or to take you to the elevator to access the upstairs Out of the Box room.
