Description

Please join us at the next installment in our Share the Wisdom series- Couples Counseling: An interactive workshop with special consideration for history of trauma

Clinical work with couples is a specialty within the field of psychotherapy that requires a certain skill set and experience. With more than one client in the room there is a unique dynamic in the room that necessitates a certain dance that facilitates meaningful work and growth. If one of the partners in the relationship has their own history of traumatic experiences it adds a complex layer to the clinical work. Please join us as we introduce some fundamentals of couples counseling and explore nuanced skills that are required for complex cases.

We are fortunate and grateful to have Dr. Neil Weissman Psy.D lead us in this interactive workshop.

3 Level I CEUs will be provided

Dr. Neil Weissman is a licensed psychologist, a VA national consultant for Motivational Interviewing (MI), and a certified supervisor in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).
