Event description

Description

We’ve all done it. You’re sitting in traffic in front of that vacant building or empty lot and thought: “That place used to be hopping! Doesn’t anyone see the potential!?

All visionaries are invited to join us for three County Wandering walking tours with artist Graham Coreil-Allen to explore and reimagine the urban and suburban space of Lee Highway, Courthouse and Columbia Pike!

The alternative walking tours take place on three Sundays (11:00 am until 12:30 pm), each beginning at a different location: Langston Brown Community Center (April 30), Courthouse Surface Parking Lot (May 7 / partnering with Jane’s Walk), and the Columbia Pike Farmers Market (May 21).

All ages and abilities are invited to participate and help direct our route as we take turns sharing our insights into the history, design and uses of everyday public spaces. Free and open to the public, reservations are not required but encouraged.

This event invite is ONLY for the April 30 Lee Highway tour. View our other events to register for the May 7 and May 21 walks.
