County Jail Gang Investigations
Thu, April 20, 2017, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PDT
This course was designed due to AB 109 causing thousands of inmates that have been transferred and housed inside County Jail Facilities. This has transformed the way County Jails operate and created opportunities for County inmates to have better internal and external communications, increased drug trafficking, and criminal
activities. Additionally, inmate assaults and taxing operations have intensified. This course will focus on proper documentation of gang members, identifying tattoos, paraphernalia, indicia, current street & custody trends of gang members. Also, case analysis of County Jail operations will be discussed such as Jail calls by inmates and undercover "Perkins Operations".
