Counter Culture, the national education program for cheesemongers, retailers, and other food professionals that want to learn more about cheese, will be in Salt Lake City, UT on Monday, October 28, 2019.


Come connect with your cheese community, learn about all things cheese, and—most of all—soak up the passion for cheese selling and serving to bring renewed energy (AND SALES!) to your holiday season!


#CounterCultureSLC is a one-day educational seminar for anyone who works with cheese on a regular basis—either behind the counter (at independent shops, grocery stores, or specialty food stores), in distribution, food service, or related areas.


If you and your staff are eager and interested in cheese but not always able to travel to food shows, attend conferences, or take learning and tasting trips, this information-packed day is for YOU!

Sample Seminar Highlights:

  • Cheesemaker + Salume Presentations

Topics include: cheesemaker history, guided tastings, and intimate Q&A time with the producers and products.  Meet representatives from LeGruyere, Isigny, Beehive and more.

  • Two Motivational Selling Sessions

With renowned cheese educator & sales coach, Caitlin O'Neill, ACS CCP.

  • Tasting Tables 

Cured meats, accompaniments, and cheese-friendly products.

  • Cheese Community Reception 

Relax and reconvene with the day's presenters, local makers and producers.
