Event description

Description

Discover why some business ideas succeed and whether yours could be one of them.

Eight out of ten new businesses fail within the first two years. This can be for many reasons, but all too often would-be entrepreneurs rush into launching a new product or service without taking the time to properly understand the market opportunity, or the various factors that contribute to their business success. Join us for this workshop aimed at early-stage aspiring entrepreneurs, designed to help you understand and discover the key insights you need to have to test whether your idea could be commercialised.

We’ll cover content including:

  • Working out your value proposition.
  • How to reach potential customers.
  • How to create and communicate a compelling offer.
  • Knowing when to progress, adapt or drop your business idea.

Jeremy O’Hare is a Relationship Manager for the British Library’s Innovating for Growth Scale-ups programme. Jeremy has worked alongside over 400 businesses helping them to implement advice that has enabled them to grow, scale and become sustainable.
