Event description
Food safety training for Cottage Foods producers

About this Event

Are you interested in producing food from a home or commissary kitchen with intent to sell? If so, you need to complete a food safety training per the Colorado Cottage Foods Act. This training meets that requirement and upon passing, provides you with a certificate of training valid for three years. In addition to the certificate, you will gain knowledge in basic food safety to help protect you from liability and your consumers from food borne illness. You will leave with an understanding of what foods are considered eligible under the Act. To help you succeed, plentiful resources will be provided to help you learn the in's and out's of running a small business.

If you wish to pay by cash or check, please register by contacting Nicole Clark.
