    Winter Fest OC, Southern California’s favorite annual holiday tradition, returns to the OC Fair Event Center December 19th through January 5th. Enjoy 18 days of affordable fun with the Orange County Fairgrounds transformed into a massive winter wonderland of “wintery” attractions and live entertainment. Winter Fest OC features a redesigned outdoor ice-skating rink trail in the middle of the fairgrounds, ice tubing down the nine-lane 150-foot long Snowflake Summit, real snow at Penny’s Snow Play & Slides with fresh snow blown in daily, with seasonal food and drinks for date nights, girl’s night out and family fun.

    Winter Fest OC will debut its fifth consecutive year bringing “Winter to the OC” with new food, entertainment and attractions designed for all ages. Guests can enjoy classic winter treats in the all new Yowie’s Sweet Shoppe, visit Victorian holiday shops and enjoy tea and scones at SoCal Dicken’s Village, dance into the night with live bands at Hussong’s Cantina, or sing their heart out to their favorite live tribute bands at the Hangar Stage. Each night at 6 p.m., the all new Winter Fest After Dark comes alive with live music, dancing, drink specials and more.

    Each night at 5:30pm, Winter Fest OC will celebrate with a parade of Winter Fest characters, featuring Mayor Frost, Mrs. Claus, the Ice Princess, Penny the Penguin, carolers, Toy Soldiers on stilts, and elves. With the Winter Fest characters circled around the 50-foot-tall walk through Christmas tree, Mayor Frost will light the Tree of Dreams Christmas tree and thrill the crowd with fireworks, snow flurries, and a surprise appearance from Santa and his Reindeer flying overhead through Christmas Eve. Don’t miss Santa and his reindeer fly over the fairgrounds at it will be limited to the first six days (Dec. 19 – 24) of Winter Fest OC, prior to his return to the North Pole.

    Private, ice rink-side VIP cabanas start at only $69 per session, creating a special destination for holiday office parties, birthday parties, family retreats or date nights. Each cabana will accommodate two to 10 people and can adapt to fit parties of up to 100 guests. The VIP cabanas offer exclusive menus with seasonally-inspired food, cocktails, a private ice rink entrance and private servers. Reserve your cabana today as space is very limited. * Does NOT include admission or ice skating session.

    New Years Eve, Winter Fest OC plans to drop the inaugural Orange Ball and light up the sky with fireworks, cover band and a not-to-miss 1,000 balloon drop at midnight. For families looking for a fun experience to ring in the New Year, a special countdown, drop of the inaugural Orange Ball, 1,000 balloon drop, cover band and fireworks will be celebrated at 6pm. No additional fee for New Years Eve Celebration, it is included in your December 31 admission ticket or season pass.

Touch a Truck, on January 4th, is an interactive, hands-on family fun experience where kids can explore, climb and touch vehicles of all shapes and size, such as fire trucks, police cars, trash truck, construction equipment and so many more.

    Children 2 years and younger do not require an admission ticket
