From news headlines to family text threads, reports about the novel coronavirus pandemic seem to have taken over our lives. Amongst it all, countless rumors have spread about this virus, its origin, treatments, cures, and even its actual existence. Join us as we explore some of the myths most commonly talked about since we first heard about the virus that changed our lives, and how we can easily identify reliable sources of information and stop the spread of untruths and fear. This workshop will be presented by Angelica Medina, MA, MCHES. Angelica is a Certified Health Educator and the Outreach Supervisor at the Breast Cancer Program at Adelphi University.
