Description

Couples! Best Friends! Come join us! for a Beginning Woodworking Class- Make A Classic Cornhole Game

TWO GAME PANELS, TWO PEOPLE = ONE CORNHOLE SET

Working in a pair you will build a set of classic cornhole game boards while learning basic woodworking techniques -- using different saws, drills, and assembly methods. This project combines the use of power tools and hand tools. Because these game elements must be built to regulation, we will guide the group through measuring boards to meet those specific dimensions. Each participant will build and take home two completed (but unpainted) boards - perfect for some outdoor spring into summer fun!

This class will cover:
Reading plans
Project layout and measurement
Using different blades and cutting tools
Different types of joinery
Scraping and Sanding
Discussion of finishing and painting wood

Class Size: Min 4/Max 8

Ages 16+ with parent in attendance
