Beginning in the lobby of the Emma and Georgina Bloomberg Center, tours walk the Tech Walk and see the exterior of the Bloomberg Center, canopy of photovoltaic panels, current construction of the Verizon Executive Education Center and Graduate Hotel, then the open expanse of our Tech Plaza, outdoor patio, campus lawn, and rolling hills of future Phase 2 buildings.Tours then make a stop in the Tata Innovation Center lobby to hear about the co-working building and back outside to the front of the House to hear about where our students and faculty live. We conclude back in the Bloomberg Center Café to view the largest art installation in the building on the ceilings and tabletops.

During the tour, you’ll hear about the history of the competition that made Cornell Tech possible, an overview of our academics, commitment to sustainability and the day to day activities that occur in each building.

This tour is organized by Cornell Tech:

Cornell Tech is a revolutionary model for graduate education that fuses technology with business and creative thinking. Cornell Tech brings together like-minded faculty, business leaders, tech entrepreneurs and students in a catalytic environment to produce visionary ideas grounded in significant needs that will reinvent the way we live.

Cornell Tech focuses on creating pioneering leaders and technologies for the digital age, through research, technology commercialization, and graduate-level education at the professional masters, doctoral and postdoctoral levels.

The rapid pace of innovation in the digital age calls for new approaches to commercializing university technology, new levels of strategic collaboration between companies and universities, and new curricula for graduate education. Cornell Tech is creating new academic programs that blend technical depth, business knowhow, design skills and a “builder” mindset.
