P.J.'s LAGER HOUSE, 1254 Michigan Avenue Detroit, MI 48226
PJ’s Lager House has been a Corktown fixture since 1914, when it opened as a neighborhood bakery and restaurant. It masqueraded as a furniture store during Prohibition, but emerged a beer garden the minute the 21st Amendment was passed repealing Prohibition. PJ’s has undergone a myriad of exciting transformations since and currently has a Detroit Attitude with a dash of New Orleans flavor. Hamburgers are handmade from fresh, ground steak. The salad dressings are made from scratch. Veggie burgers are made from house made falafel. The gumbo is the real thing.
MCSHANE'S, 1460 Michigan Avenue Detroit, MI 48226
McShanes Pub was started for people to have a place they could call home. Whether you're there to try something off of their incredible Irish-American menu, sample something from their extensive Whiskey bar, or just hang out, you'll ALWAYS have a good time at McShanes!
BOBCAT BONNIES, 1800 Michigan Avenue Detroit, MI 48226
The building that this gastropub calls home is over 150 years old, filled with warm-colored brick that was all scalped from Eloise, the well-known insane asylum of Wayne County, they provide high-quality, inviting service within a clean, fun, and welcoming atmosphere, while serving fresh, upscale food at a friendly price.
