Event description

Description

Our goal for this meeting is to bring together scientists, land managers and other professionals within the 60,000-acre Corkscrew Watershed. This is a forum to share on-going research, produce insightful conversation, and inspire future collaborations.

This one-day conference will be held at Audubon’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. We welcome attendance by research and stewardship staff, support staff, volunteers, and others wishing to learn more about the ecology of our watershed.

This year we will focus on ecological changes in our watershed, specifically what has changed, what continues to change, and what change can we expect in the future. Presentations will span hydrology, weather, fire, vegetation and wildlife and the afternoon's facilitated discussion will allow participants to brainstorm and engage on what can be done to benefit our watershed.
