Core ZB: Advancing Skills Day

2019 Zero Balancing New England Mini Conference

Theme: ZB and Transformation

Class Location:

3534 US Route 5, Westminster, VT 05158

Class length: One Day, 6.5 CEUs
Prerequisite: Core ZB I

Please join 5 New England ZB Faculty, Lisa Berger, Michele Doucette, Tom Gentile, Amanda King, and Ty Romijn, for an evening PLUS One-Day Community Event: The 2019 ZB New England Mini Conference.

Our theme this year is ZB and Transformation. Our goal is to create the opportunity for personal and professional transformation through ZB. Come expand your connections, friendships, ZB skills and perceptions. Help us create a stronger ZB field in New England and beyond. Last year we had students from Maine to Georgia. We need you!

Conference Schedule: (subject to tweaking)

FRIDAY 6/28 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

6:00 - 6:30 pm Welcome and Opening Meditation
6:30 - 8:00 pm Open Forum and Touch Feedback in groups

SATURDAY 6/29 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

9:00-9:30 Welcome, Meditation, and Introductions

9:30-10:30 Embracing New Insights using the Arm Fulcrum with Amanda King
The basic arm fulcrum, offered near the end of a ZB, can be a powerful bridge. Amanda will review the Core ZB arm fulcrum and suggest ways we can use it to help clients amplify their connections to themselves and their world.

10:30-10:40 - Break

10:40-11:50 The Value of Three with Ty Romijn and Tom Gentile
Ty and Tom will help us appreciate the value of three which appears so much in ZB. Explore heaven, earth and humanity -- and energy, structure and consciousness -- through exciting exercises.

11:50-1:00 Meeting the Donkey at the Ankles with Lisa Berger
We nestle with the ankle joint to engage the donkey in our first Half Moon Vectors. In the positioning process, we can pay attention to how the ankles are held. By addressing any excess tension or looseness, we can get our ZB sessions off on the “right foot. ” Lisa will teach the Reverse HMV and highlight ways to build donkey-pleasing ankle fulcrums.

1:00-2:00 Lunch: Please bring a picnic lunch to enjoy onsite.

2:00-2:30 - Graduation Ceremony for Certified ZBers
Please let us know when you register if you plan to graduate.

2:30-3:40 ZB and Alchemical Transformation with Michele Doucette
We will dive into the deep roots of ZB in ancient alchemical principles while also exploring the flowering branches of modern science and psychology. New insights about the role of ZB as a leading-edge transformational therapy will be brought into the field of full session swaps.

3:40-4:40 Integrating ZB session swaps

4:40-5:00 Closing circle

Saturday, June 29 • 5:30 - 7:30
Optional Community Potluck Dinner - bring a dish to share!
